Originally trained to be a lawyer, relocated to train as an actor in London. Has worked in classical and contemporary theatre including the RSC and Royal Court, touring throughout the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan. Lauded by the Guardian as an "electrifying presence with machine gun delivery." TV includes classics like Doctor Who and Skins. Over 30 film credits including with such seminal directors as Peter Greenaway (The Draughtsman's Contract) and Todd Haynes (Velvet Goldmine).Plays a Greek tycoon in his latest feature film "Aegean Love" ,screened at Cannes in May. Appears as the vampire opposite Asian megastar Jay Chou, in the ground breaking music video "Children of the Sun" ,amassing an estimated 100 million views on world wide platforms. Soon to play the lead in Swiss sci-fi feature film "Bernard's Bar".
