William Reyes is a Honduran filmmaker and producer. He is the founder and director of Opida, an audiovisual production company focused on independent cinema and film education. His work explores identity, belonging, family, and social realities in Honduras and Latin America. His debut feature film, Eva, a Honduras-Colombia co-production, marks his first feature as a director. Beyond filmmaking, Reyes develops film education initiatives for Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities in Honduras, creating opportunities for emerging filmmakers to tell their own stories.
