Amrita Shivender Singh (born 9 February 1958) is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi films. Singh made her acting debut with Betaab (1983), and established herself as a leading actress of the 1980s and early 1990s. After a hiatus from 1994 to 2001, Singh returned to acting in both film and television. In 2020, she received her third Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her acclaimed performance in Badla.
