Meg lives alone with her beloved cat Nigel. Her evening is turning out as planned – dinner, a glass of wine, and some trashy true crime TV before bed – until two unexpected intruders turn her peaceful evening into every woman’s worst nightmare. The encounter spirals into a darkly comedic commentary on the frustrations experienced by renters amidst Australia’s ongoing housing crisis.
