Abhisari explores the lives of sex workers in Sri Lanka and the complex legal and social realities surrounding their work. The film seeks to spark discussion around the legitimacy of sex work as labour, highlighting the stigma, legal barriers, and social attitudes faced by women in the industry while presenting their experiences with dignity.
