The wife of a young doctor came to seek protection from Baikalov - her husband is cheating! And from Lebyazhego they inform that in three days rains will fall, and the only one who will be able to organize the work and not to rot the bread is Pyotr Ivlev. But on the secretary's desk is an anonymous letter: the district doctor has had an affair with Pyotr's wife. What is more important - grain harvesting or the family of a young party member?
