At age 11, Claudia experiences life-changing events during a day that is nonetheless filled with the pleasure of being at the beach. In a sensual and aquatic atmosphere made of walks on the lake, swimming and games between cousins, the succession of small dramas precipitates the explosion of her family. But an unlikely encounter in the forbidden cove helps Claudia face what lies ahead.
