When it is time for a wealthy nobleman to step down and pass on his title to the younger generation, he finds that his youngest son is dull-witted and very contemptuous of women, so he wants to pass the title on to his eldest son. There is only one condition: the elder son has to marry immediately. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the son, John, though, because many women are waiting to marry him to get their hands on the big money. Although John takes the time to “test out” every single lady, his heart is still attached to one of his father’s former wives.
